#JackieFact

idk those just made me laugh so i thot maybe u wud laf 2 lol jackie wat u crazy gnome.

Just a few #JackieFacts for you to read and then judge me about.

1.  I HATE bananas. If I was stranded on an island and the only food on that island were bananas, I would die of starvation.

2.  I am indeed about that ADD lyfe tho.

3.  I love JB and T-Swiz and if you hate on them there is a 94.6% chance I will come to your house in the middle of the night and shave your hair into a mohawk. A really badly done, unstylish mohawk.

4. Summa time is the best time and I was meant to live at the beach.

5. I play (whoa I was trying to type "play" but I typed "okay" by accident ok never mind continue) lacrosse. Specifically defense and some midfield.

6. I'm undeniably the most fierce, fearless, flawless, ratchet, bamf, gnome member of the Buckman family. (I was gonna say in the world but then I came up with a long list of people that would be ahead of me.)

7. For a career, I would like to be either a Veterinarian for the ASPCA, or an extremely successful singer/songwriter. I have diverse taste.

8. I love the internet.

9. I love fashion, even though you wouldn't be able to tell since most of the time I'm dressed like I'm an urban camper. (That's the nice word for hobo.)

10. I'm addicted to music like it's cocaine.

11. I believe that life is both chance and choice.

12.  My soul is made of cake and popcorn chicken

13.  Polar bears are my favorite animal and I plan on buying one. And people always tell me, "Jackie are you serious? It's gonna eat you, it's a wild animal, blah blah blah. " But I have a plan. If I buy it as a cub and raise it as my own, it will love me and not eat me so LET ME LIVE OKAY.

14. Sparkles are a way of life.

Bieber Fever

It's no real secret that I'm deeply in love with Justin Bieber. And really, I don't think people understand exactly how much I love him. They probably have an idea, but I like, LOVE him. A lot. Hardcore Belieber.

Anyway,

On Saturday, January 5th, 2013, I saw him live in concert in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Just take a minute to process that.

WE WERE IN THE SAME ROOM TOGETHER.
It was the best day of my whole life.

So during the day, I was with my BFF Natalie. Natalie used to live here and she moved away, but we have biannual visits. I don't know if biannual means two times a year, but I hope it does, cause that's what I meant. (I promised Natalie I would blog about her, but I won't go into much detail right now because she is getting her own separate post.) So anyway, we were at her hotel and she helped me get all ready. I had to look perf. We are getting married you know. So I bought my Wal-Mart acrylic nails, slapped those on. And then I attempted to put on fake eyelashes for the first time in my whole life. The first one turned out pretty good, but the second one was just a mess. I got lash glue all over the actual lashes an then they all clumped together and dried and I couldn't get them apart. Plus, I glued it to high up on my eye so one of my eyes had an eyelash with like 4 large lash clumps glued to the middle of the eyelid. Scrapped those and just went with my own real eyelashes.

And the shirt I had was just prime time. Natalie had given it to me for Christmas.

And it's so warm

Then I left to go meet Abi (you all know Abi from my Fatday Friday Post). Natalie didn't go because we didn't know she would be here when we got tickets. Plus she's not in love with him like Abi and I are.

The concert was at Energy Solutions Arena, so we drove down the canyon having a pre concert jam sesh to JB. Well actually, we didn't drive, our moms drove, but same thing.

Classy in the O'Shucks bathroom

More pictures, 'cause we're cute

Anyway, when we got to the concert, we ran as fast as we could inside, cause we were already a few minutes late. But it was okay cause all we were missing was the opening act. (No offense to Carly Rae Jepsen. I enjoy a mean 'Call Me Maybe' as much as the next person).

But after she was done, we waited like 50 minutes before Justin came on. Later we found out that he was late because he had spent the day with a little girl with Leukemia at Primary Children's Hospital since she couldn't use her tickets because she got sick again.  He's such an angel.

Basically, then he came out, I cried, he sang, I cried, he spoke, I cried. I did a lot of crying. Happy crying though, don't you worry. I also did a lot of jumping and dancing and rocking out.
The show was so cool, they did a lot of really amazing stuff with videos and fireworks and all that jazz.

We had amazing seats thanks to my Aunt Linda! She's not actually my aunt, but she's a really close family friend so I just say she's my aunt. Anyway, she works for Larry H. Miller, which owns the Energy Solutions and the Jazz and stuff, so she always gets me tickets to things there. For my birthday she surprised me with the tickets. We were sitting on the left side in the lower bowl, 11 rows up from the floor.

From our seats with no zoom
*fangirling*

And then they played One Less Lonely Girl. For those of you that aren't Beliebers or just don't know what goes on at a Justin concert, his crew goes out and picks one girl from the audience to go up on stage, get a crown of flowers put on her head and be serenaded by Justin. I tweeted him and his crew 42 times where I was sitting to be the OLLG, because Justin said in an interview that that was what we should do if we wanted to be the OLLG. Sadly, it wasn't me, but it was my old baby sitter and current lacrosse teammate Caitlin's best friend that she went with. Lucky Duck

(So actually, I didn't really know her at all, but I knew someone who did know her, and through Jackie-rationalization, that means I knew her.)

ahhhhhhh

It was such an amazing night. I would give anything to relive it. But you can all mark my words, one day he will love me. That's a promise, and I never break my promises.

Jackie's Choice Awards #1

So, If you haven't noticed, there obviously aren't enough awards shows on TV. We only have like 737 billion a year to watch. You got your AMA's, your Grammy's, your Oscar's, your Teen Choice, your Kid's Choice, People's choice, etc, etc.

And I came up with a brilliant idea that you will all love.

The Jackie's Choice Awards.

*insert applause for genius/creative thinking here*

I'm going to give you my nominees for a multitude of categories, but unlike most awards shows, you have no control whatsoever about who the winner will be. No voting for your favorites or any of that. It's called the JACKIE'S Choice Awards people. Come on.

And because I know you all care so much about my opinions, here are my nominees:

Male Artist-

He is an attractive one

Let's be honest here, are there really any other contenders anyway? I didn't think so.

Female Artist-

T-Swizzle is the bomb diggity. And that's not really a refutable statement at all so don't even try. Kthanksbye.

Musical Group-

He is We. You haven't heard them before? You have not lived. Right now, you are dead. I'm so sorry.

Actor-

But whyyyyyyyyy though? Loved him in Little Manhattan, loved him in Bridge to Terribithea, and LOVED him in The Hunger Games.

Actress-

Because really, who is not in love with Jennifer Lawrence? She makes me LOL.

Best TV Drama

Those of you who know me, or have read any of my other blog posts, know that The Vampire Diaries is my burning passion. Like really, what the heck? Can someone really get addicted to a TV show? Yes, yes they can.  The 'halfway-through-the-season' winter finale was last week and I'm already going through crazy withdrawls.

Best TV Comedy

Our first nominee for best comedy is Modern Family. I don't really know anyone who has never seen Modern Family, so there's really no explanation needed for why it's nominated. If you've seen it, you know.

And then we have Happy Endings. It's really underrated considering how funny it actually is. Or maybe I'm just weird.

Actually, I'm just pretty much gonna nominate like every comedy show on ABC. They're all fabulous.

I watch a lot of TV.

Movie of the Year-

You all knew that was coming. And if you don't know what this movie poster is from, you obviously don't get out much. I read the first book in sixth grade when my mom started reading it for her book club. I remember I couldn't fall asleep one night and I didn't really have any books to read at home, so at 10:30 at night I snuck into my mom's room and grabbed it, then snuck back into my room. I stayed up til 3:45 reading. I tried to put it down and fall asleep probably close to 8 times, but I couldn't stop thinking about it. My favorite book to date. And do not even get me started on the movie. For the most part, I agree with "The books are always better thing," but in this case, I think the movie was just as good. One day I watched it 7 times all the way through, back to back.

Best Animated Movie-

These awards don't have a timeline. My picks can be as old as I want them to be alright? But this is my favorite movie like ever. I just feel like Lilo and I are pretty much identical twins whenever I watch that movie.  (Except for the fact that she is a cute little Hawaiian girl and I am a white girl who lives in Utah, but you understand what I mean.) We have the same personality.

Movie of All Time-

You all know it's true though. I could watch this on repeat for the rest of my life. Actually, this is the only movie that has ever made me cry. Just a little 'Jackie Fact' for you.

Cutest Cat-

She loves me

My cat's name is Ninja, but mostly I call her Neen. Which is actually kind of weird because it takes the same amount of time to say "Neen" as it does to say "Ninja." So it's not a really great nickname but that's ok.

Thank you all so much for coming out tonight! We hope you had a great time at the show, have a safe drive home.

I'll try to have a safe walk to the refrigerator, which is where I am now going.

P.S.
If you were confused, that was supposed to be like the end of an awards show, but the more I read it, the more I feel like it isn't going to make sense to other people. It was me trying to be clever. Sorry.
